New habit:
- Beginner: watch this video every day this week
- Next level: choose a time in your schedule to watch an uplifting or motivational video each day. It is easier to begin a new habit by piggy-backing it onto another habit. It might work for you to listen to your video while you eat breakfast or while you work out.
Journal Assignment:
Get yourself a journal or composition notebook. Write down the date you are starting this journey. List each of the areas of personal growth that we will be working on (listed below) and then write about the place you are in right now. You can just jot down a few notes or as many paragraphs as you want.
- emotional health (sometimes called mental health, but relates to the way your thinking affects your feelings and outlook)
- body health
- spiritual health
- growing the mind/ learning
- financial health
- relationships
- home care
Move on to the next step when you feel you are ready: tomorrow, next week, whatever works for you. Take every step at your own speed. We are not working toward perfection, we are just working toward a happier, healthier you.
