Have you ever questioned, should I take a multivitamin? Our diet is usually lacking in many of the key nutrients we need. While a lot of health officials will tell you that it is better to eat a healthy diet and get your nutrition that way, you need to think honestly about your daily food intake. Are you getting a variety of fruits and vegetables every day? I am not talking about a serving of green beans at dinner. Most of us would have to admit we rarely if ever get all our recommended servings, and those recommendations are just for basic not optimum health.
Multivitamins
In Step Two I listed supplements that are beneficial for depression, anxiety, and fatigue. I would also recommend taking a multivitamin for overall health. I personally only take about half the dosage given on the bottle, so that might be one pill instead of two a day.
These are the vitamins I have been taking for years. When I am consistent, I don’t tend to get sick. This is only a suggestion as I am not a health professional.
Meal Replacement Shake
I also like to have a healthy shake for one meal. These are the ingredients I use, you could put them in a blender with ice or frozen fruit for a smoothie and add things like yogurt, peanut butter, or banana.
